Banning Lewis Ranch Metropolitan District No. 1 is aware of concerns raised by residents regarding teenagers and other children operating electric scooters, dirt bikes, and similar motorized vehicles throughout the neighborhood in a manner that may create safety concerns for pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, and other residents.

We understand that these situations can be frustrating and concerning for neighbors, particularly when they occur repeatedly or in areas where families and children are present. We appreciate residents who are helping to keep our community safe and welcoming for everyone.

While the Metropolitan District does not have law enforcement authority and is not responsible for enforcing traffic laws or investigating these incidents, we encourage residents who witness unsafe or unlawful activity to contact the appropriate law enforcement agency. If possible, residents should provide photographs, videos, descriptions of the individuals involved, vehicle information, and the date, time, and location of the occurrence.
