Required Information: Photo ID is required to confirm identity for sticker pick up.

Issuance: Each residence receives one RFID sticker per household at no cost. For additional sticker(s) for permanent residents of the Retreat, complete the Gate Access Request Form, available from District Management or on the District’s website at https://www.banninglewisranchmetrodistrict.com/retreat-gate-access.

Installing Your RFID Sticker:

·         Preparation: Clean and dry the inside of your windshield thoroughly.

·         Placement: Remove the yellow sticker backing. Affix the sticker inside the windshield, in the upper-left corner (driver’s side) only, oriented horizontally only. Ensure it is flat and fully adhered.

·         Single-use: Do not adjust or remove the sticker once installed. Stickers are non-transferable. If you need a replacement, contact District Management.

·         Multiple Vehicles: See Issuance info above for requesting stickers for additional vehicles.

Using the RFID Sticker:

·         Gate Operation: Approach the gate directly and slowly. Once in range, the RFID reader will automatically scan your sticker and open the gate if it is valid and active.

·         Troubleshooting: If the gate does not open, back up slightly, wait 10 seconds, and try again. If issues persist, contact District Management.

·         Security: Do not tailgate other vehicles through the gate. Report suspicious activity or vandalism to the police. Report gate malfunctions to District Management.

Troubleshooting & Support:

·         Lost, Damaged, or Replaced Stickers: Report immediately to District Management. A $10.00 replacement fee may apply, payable by check or request to add as a one-time fee to the next upcoming District fee bill for your household. The old sticker will be deactivated in the system.

·         Deactivation and Revocation: Stickers will be deactivated if you move out, sell or replace your vehicle. Stickers may be deactivated if owner transfers their sticker or misuses and/or damages the vehicle gates.

·         Optional Testing: You may test the sticker by holding it near the windshield before permanent installation.

Additional Information:

·         Key fobs and gate codes: Key fobs and gate codes will still work at the vehicle gates, and fobs must be retained to be used for facility entry. This RFID sticker system is only an additional method of vehicular gate entry and does not replace prior methods.
