Retreat at BLR - Wastewater Manhole Repair Notification

Colorado Springs Utilities’ wastewater crews will be repairing a manhole on the walking path/sidewalk near Bennach Grv. (pictured) on Friday, September 26, 2025. The work should be completed by the end of the day. The small portion/panel of the sidewalk will be closed during the repair. A temporary asphalt cold patch will be placed on the panel in the sidewalk so it can be reopened immediately after the repair is complete. Full concrete restoration will be scheduled for a later date, typically 2-4 weeks from the construction date.
