Upcoming Mail Room Door Replacement
Dear Enclave Residents of Banning Lewis Ranch,
The District is pleased to share an update on improvements to the Enclave mail room. As a first step toward improving the security, protection, and overall condition of the mail room, the District will be replacing the facility doors later this week.
The replacement doors will provide a better seal for the mail room, helping keep the space warmer, better protected from rain, snow, and other weather conditions that can allow moisture into the facility, and allow for further security improvements on the facility.
Vortex will begin the door installation on Thursday, October 22 at 9:00 a.m., with work expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, October 23. Work will take place during regular business hours, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Residents will still be able to access the mail room during the installation. However, for everyone’s safety, the Vortex installation team may temporarily restrict access while certain portions of the work are underway.
Following the door replacement, the District Management is working on additional security improvements, subject to Board approval, including a fob-access system that would allow the mail room to remain locked and accessible to authorized users. The physical lock will be replaced and we intend to match existing keys with residents, however if it is required to change, residents will be informed by further update. These access-control measures are subject to Board consideration and approval and are expected to be discussed at the next Board meeting. If approved, the District’s goal is to complete the additional improvements by the end of 2026 or very early in 2027.
We recognize that the mail room has been an ongoing concern for Enclave residents, and we appreciate your patience as the District takes steps to improve the facility. The door replacement is an important first step, and the District will continue addressing facility maintenance and security needs as the larger improvement effort moves forward.
Please reach out to District Management if you have any questions.
